Claire Bevilacqua (29 January 1983) (nickname "Bevo") is a professional surfer from Perth, Australia. Her mother is Australian while her father is Italian. In 2003, she was crowned as the Australian Junior Women's Champion. In 2005, she joined the World Championship Tour (WCT) of the Association of Surfing Professionals, finishing with a 10th ranking.[1] Since turning pro she has won several competitions including The Outer Banks Pro in North Carolina, The Hello Kitty Boardfest at Huntington Beach, California[2] and the 2009 Pipepline Pro.[3] Bevilacqua finished the 2006 WCT season with a #6 ranking. Bevilacqua was also voted onto the Nixon Surf Team.[4]
